Association of Rotational Molders Names Meese Orbitron Dunne's Mike Dorsey President
Board Turns To Dorsey's 25 Years Of Expertise For Leadership In Global Market
Ashtabula, OH: Rotational molding authority Michael Dorsey has been elected
president of the Association of Rotational Molders (ARM) International for
2006. Currently vice president manufacturing and engineering for plastics
design and rotational molding firm Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD),
Ashtabula, Ohio, Dorsey was elected by the Board of Directors in support of
his vision for promoting a greater understanding of rotational molding and
its diverse applications worldwide. Dorsey had been a Board member for the
previous four years as secretary/treasurer and vice president and had
served as chairman for numerous educational committees since joining the
organization in 1981.
Dorsey brings nearly 25 years of manufacturing and management
expertise to the post, including stints with Rubbermaid and Bonar prior to
his 19 years with MOD, whose owners were charter members of the Association
in 1978. At MOD, Dorsey has helped the company achieve record breaking
production eclipsing $25 million in annual revenues. A tireless contributor
to the community, Dorsey is a former board member of Habitat for Humanity
and officer on the Madison, Ind. Chamber of Commerce and currently serves
on the Madison Community Foundation Board.
