Custom Fuel Tanks In Nearly Any Shape

In case you missed the Oct. 10th Machine Design, the editors wrote about how design engineers can be extra creative when designing off-highway machines, lawn & garden equipment, boats and other fuel-powered machines thanks to our ability to design fuel tanks that fit in vertical, oddly shaped and non-traditional locations.

Our fuel tanks may be molded with tight radius curves, complex cutouts and an array of twists and turns to fit almost anywhere, as near or far from the engine as the machine design requires. You can design your machine without feeling limited by traditional metal fuel tanks…then we'll design the fuel tank to suit the machine.

Replace Dangerous Steel Tanks
Steel tanks are assembled with fasteners, seals, solders and welds that invite corrosion and rust. Over time, dangerous leaks and spills are a virtual certainty from ordinary operation and/or from accidental impact. Our fuel tanks are rotomolded in one, seamless piece from cross-linked polyethylene, one of the most impact-resistant materials known to mankind. They are also virtually stress-free and are designed to distort in high temperatures without rupturing or catching fire. Plus, they automatically return to their original shape after distortion with no harm done. Now picture a leaking, 40-gallon steel tank in a fire…

With MOD fuel tanks, leaks and spills are virtually impossible. Safety is improved along with structural strength and the tank is likely to outlast the entire machine.

Beware - Steel Tanks Attacked At Sea!

Even landlubbers know that boats, jet skis and other water craft with steel fuel tanks are attacked by salt water, fresh water, acids, solvents and other chemicals from the moment they enter the water. Deterioration continues until someone notices a leak. Our marine fuel tank designs are impervious to attack from the salts and chemicals of harsh marine environments. They meet or exceed the standards set forth by the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) and will probably outlast the rest of the boat.

It's More Exciting In 3-D, And No Funny Glasses

MOD engineers use SolidWorks 3-D modeling, Pro/ENGINEER, and other programs every day to develop visual prototypes without requiring any investment in tooling or machined prototypes. Transforming simple sketches, notes and rough ideas into full color, photo-quality illustrations is a daily occurrence. If funding your project requires senior management or financial personnel to grasp a concept, don't risk presenting your ideas without our 3-D illustrations.
